I am a total fan of Jim’s knowledge. Understanding the sickness as a whole (I.e. triggers, withdrawal, neurological reactions) has help me under why addiction is so dangerous and life altering. Thank You!

All of the information I obtained during my treatment.
The caring, the groups, lecture and support of everyone.
All of the staff, the commitments of the conselors and the friendly enviornment. The lectures are very informative and filled with stories of experience and educational about the brain.
John’s insight, experience and patients, Jim’s lectures, finding support in group and supportive group members
Understanding my alcoholism and being able to see triggers before I just acted on them, understanding the physical and mental things that contributed to my addiction.
Many things were helpful at Pacifica. Learning about the addictive brain and the consequences of alcohol and learning about changing my perception about life and getting to know myself better and wanting to live a more spiritual life.
Knowing that every day I showed up, I would be loved and accepted, helping me realize that my spirituality plays a great part of my recovery and sobriety.
I like the low-key approach and method.
Education, leaarning about how alcohol and drugs affect the brain. Also the spiritual movies and watching sober movies I could relate to.
