Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)

Intensive Outpatient Program in Palm Springs

We offer outpatient programs at two centrally located facilities in the greater Southern California region. Our facility in Claremont is within walking distance to the Claremont McKenna Colleges. Our facility in Palm Springs is located in the beautiful downtown district. Our outpatient program offers a holistic experience that is facilitated by our multidisciplinary team of counselors and therapists. The serene settings, low total number of clients, and high staff to client ratio provide for the perfect setting for personal breakthrough and lasting change.

In our outpatient and day treatment programs, clients will have access to:

Licensed psychologists and psychiatrists
Certified and master-level addiction Counselors
Medical Doctors Certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ASAM)
Spiritual oriented workshop facilitators

Outpatient Programs Offered:

Intensive Outpatient Treatment

We offer an IOP addiction treatment program founded on Evidence Based solutions.
Typical schedule is 3 hours a day on 5 days a week

Day Treatment

We provide a structured program of daytime treatment as an alternative to inpatient care. This is a more intensive program than IOP. Our Day Treatment program allows participants to get into deeper issues.
Patients who have completed inpatient or residential treatment for substance use disorders can benefit from a structured level of step-down support as they transition to a more independent lifestyle. This treatment is provided during the day and doesn’t require an overnight stay.
Typical schedule is 6 hours a day on 5 days a week

Hypnotherapy

Pacifica Recovery offers hypnotherapy as a tool for treatment. Our trained clinical hypnotherapist will help guide patients to tap into their subconscious mind and their truth within. This heightens the patient’s awareness and reveals information that might be triggering his/her addiction. Hypnosis allows a person to unconsciously explore and better understand their underlying motivations which can help lead to better recovery results.

EMDR Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing

Pacifica Recovery also offers EMDR therapy to our patients. EMDR is the gold standard for PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and trauma therapy techniques. EMDR is a treatment approach for past trauma that is causing problems in your present daily life. Change occurs as a result of reprocessing and altering past memories that have been causing recurring painful feelings in the present and often trigger addiction. This shame and hopelessness causes a revolving door for relapse. The ultimate goal for our program is to help you develop a positive sense of self and a life that has meaning – A life worth staying clean and sober for.
